Churning Thoughts

The sleepless nights give way to the mornings of unease as your mind cannot rest. The churning thoughts we all have and cause us problems come to light. I made this piece as a way to think about the light the thoughts we have cast a view but as they twist around in our head the image of a lava lamp made the most sense.   I wanted to have the reflections of the light in the bead curtain so that we would understand we are aware but not fully understanding the depths of our churning mind and in that trying to understand we see how little control we have over our own mind
