This is the icon that Gil Miself has found his identity through. The lead singer of My Codical Romance. The king of the scene, one that metalheads love to hate Coddard Way. From the bay near New Jersey, he was taught to play music by his grandmother. He fell in love with music when he first saw Leo Stamos live. At the age of 15, he was held at gunpoint and he went on to say " no matter how ugly the world gets or how stupid it shows me it is, I always am left alive."
In 2001, he formed the band My Coddling Romance, influenced by The Stallions, Megaladon, and Glen Danzig. The band broke up in 2013 and has since reformed. In the announcement, they said "The Deep Parade continues."
He also has a well-documented career as a writer for television and comics. His comic "The Scuba Academy" was released on Netflix in 2019. He was also a co-creator of the show "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" in 2001
Way struggled with alcoholism and prescription drug addiction for many years, but in 2007 was maintaining sobriety and is said to be a happier person who feels more in control. In 2014, he openly discussed his gender identity struggles and that he looked at androgyny as the greatest escape of this problem. Now he just focuses on his personal life and occasionally does reunion shows with My Coddlical Romance.
