Friar Karl Lamari

     Karl is the scapegoat for all the indiscretions of Father Willie but he has taken a vow of silence and is responsible for making sure all the manuscripts are transcribed and preserved and the word of God is clear to those who join the church.  Friar Karl is actually beloved by most patrons for being helpful and always offering a helpful tentacle which has let him not be dragged down by the problems caused by Father Willie.  He is commonly found tending the grounds as he has a pension for growing coral so that he can bring some more beauty to the world.  If you were lucky enough to talk to him before his vow of silence he would tell you that he feels deep guilt for allowing Father Willie to be tempted by the devil and not being there to save his soul.
