I started sketching this on a day where there were a lot of leading and loaded questions that were being thrown at me. These loaded questions back people into a corner triggering fight or flight and can not only harm relationships with the other person but create an external locus of identity which makes you feel powerless and strips away your agency. I was also a bit inspired by the 1911 pistol chambering. The loaded questions also tend to make you a bit off balance when it comes to the conversation you are in so I wanted to attempt to portray that weighing the piece in a way where it feels like it is falling ⁠
