In the language of the flowers, the Lilly is seen as virtuous and pure. They represent friendship In the language of the flowers, Lilly is seen as virtuous and pure. They represent friendship and devotion. Some species of the Lilly represent wealth and prosperity. As far back as the Greek Mythos, the lily was believed to be created from the breast milk of Hera, the wife of Zeus, leading to them symbolizing purity and Immense beauty. As a Xenos however it makes me think of the idea of that person that is beautiful and genuine. These people seemingly have their life together for periods of time, and as with lilies being perennial, they have a hibernation period where they go into a scaly bulb and some leaves before they come back into full bloom and show the world their true beauty. The people that you never see dressed up until they want to and when they do it is jaw-dropping. This flower is the embodiment of the idea “ they clean up well” cause the bulbs are ugly but the flowers are things that made people question if they were from the gods.
